“Quickfire gags with sharp observational comedy... with self-depreciating, touching honesty and intelligent political commentary... genuinely funny” ««««  Chortle

Following the success of a total sell-out Edinburgh 2014, and his prime-time BBC Radio 4 comedy series ‘It's A Fair Cop’, Alfie Moore returns to the Edinburgh fringe with his brand new stand up show 'A Fair Cop Stands Up'
“He’s terrific with a live audience” Daily Mail

Alfie has been a police officer for 18 years and has watched with increasing dismay the relentless and systematic dismantling of the thin blue line. Cuts, scandals, looming privatisation and polluted politicians have brought the finest police force in the world to its knees.
Alfie Moore is back to doing what he does best - tackling difficult subjects with his own unique brand of intelligent socio-political humour. Alfie Says “The organisation that I care passionately about is at a tipping point. It’s time to fight back and so I’ve got a little plan…..”
He certainly has – a little plan to radically change the face of British policing for ever!
3rd Funniest Joke of the Fringe 2013 – DAVE TV

Alfie Moore’s ‘A Fair Cop Stands Up’ promises to be often thought-provoking, sometimes shocking and always funny

“Very funny hour, nicely paced with lots of well-crafted jokes and a large dash of gallows police humour«««« The Sunday Telegraph

Prior to Edinburgh, Alfie returns to BBC Radio 4 with the re-commissioned second series of
‘It’s a Fair Cop’ which will air over 6 weeks starting on 18th June at 6.30pm in the comedy slot until 23rd July.  Alfie will embark on his 3rd UK tour this October 2015 touring his sold out “The Naked Stun” Edinburgh show.

As well as his own headline tours, he has also supported Sarah Millican, Russell Kane and Milton Jones on their national comedy tours.

“A very funny but informative and slyly political show that does that rare thing at the Fringe – makes its audiences think”  «««« The Arts Desk
